I had to laugh at the part about Dawkins because it brought to mind that great zinger of a line from Annie Hall, when young Alvy was at the doctor's and his mother said: "What is that your business?!"

As for the Paul Rubin piece, I have to agree, as I begin to wonder about the fact that for some 30 years, we've banged on about recycling and such, yet, when has one item gone down in price, such as a gallon of milk, as a result of recycled packaging? Most of these green people are able to create cottage non-profits to give themselves nice salaries and boardrooms, much like the profit boys, who, in turn, take the good will of the non-profit folks and make a bundle from their (non-profits) "good will." You have to ask yourself: When do prices go down?

Here's what they can do: they, the non-profit planet savers, can go to the Gulf of Mexico and suck up the oil and turn it into plastic containers and get ahead of the game, and we can get rid of our blue or green containers for recycling!

As far as the Shroud duel you had with the blogger, I'd say that facts and history account for very little (as one character pointed out in Eugene O'Neill's play, "The Iceman Cometh." Personal ideology makes us succumb to the ease of any "fact" that rumors itself into existence, because the jog to truth is a tough run. Google has helped encourage the tired but true course of selective memory.mightygreekwritingmachinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03833474238605960706noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7126049.post-50497827497177149662010-05-11T13:13:41.669+08:002010-05-11T13:13:41.669+08:00Hey ,
