The spiral tightens

Britain to allow cloning of human embryos (Reuters - 9:01 a.m. ET Aug. 11, 2004)

British scientists said on Wednesday they had received permission to clone human embryos for medical research, thought to be the first such license given in Europe. ...

The embryos will be destroyed before they are 14 days old and will never be allowed to develop beyond a cluster of cells the size of a pinhead.

I can only wince to imagine what Britain's policy is on adult stem cells. Probably not nearly as active or highlighted. Such is abortive genocide.
