I was just watching CNN and the broadcaster on their "International Hour" said, "Now, let's have a look at news just around the world." I chuckled. Is Uganda just around the world like 7-11 is just around the corner? Or maybe they only care about events happening simultaneously everywhere at once around the world? "Next Up: Clouds Form, Nations Seethe, Humans Defecate". Or is reporting global news not a big deal at all anymore--just a jaunt around the world, donchaknow?
